7-Day Payment Due Invoice Template

A seven (7) day payment due invoice requires the recipient to make payment within a week. This is common for services that have been rendered and the contractor wants to be paid quickly. The seven (7) may begin either on the date of the invoice sent or upon receipt by the recipient.

Step 1 – Acquire This Paperwork To Invoice Your Clients With A Seven Day Deadline

Locate the preview image on this page then select either the “PDF” button or the “Word” button from its caption to download your copy of the 7-Day Payment Due Invoice.

Step 2 – Supply The Contractor Or Service Provider’s Identity To This Paperwork

Open your copy of this invoice then click in the text box at the start of the page. Remove the wording (“Company Name”) and enter the exact name of the Business or Contractor requesting seven-day payment. The “Name” line beginning this paperwork is set to identify Invoicing Company’s Representative sending this paperwork. The mailing address where a payment can be sent to the Invoicing Company is considered an important component of this header. It will be presented using three different blank lines each bearing a label. Use them as a place to display the “Street Address,” the “City, State, Country,” and the “Zip Code” that makes up the Invoicing Company’s mailing address. This invoice header will be satisfied once you report the Invoicing Company or Contractor’s “Phone” number and “E-Mail” address.

Step 3 – Reference Information Attached To The 7-Day invoice Should Be Included

The shaded bar below the header possesses two items that you must complete with information. The first is a blank line just after the text “Invoice #.” Produce this reference for the Customer’s use to discuss this document, issue a payment, or keep track of their books. On the opposite side of the shaded bar, the “Date” line awaits your report on when this document is effective. It should be noted the “Date” you input here may be used to determine the official due date of this invoice.

Step 4 – Address The Customer Obligated To Pay Within Seven Days

The Customer or Client expected to pay the invoiced amount within seven days of receiving it must be named as the intended Recipient or Invoice Payer. This will be the first task of the “Bill To” section. The blank space carrying the “Name” label in this section requests the exact “Name” of the Payer. The Payer will have indicated what his or her billing address is. If not, then you should obtain this information for our goals. Once you are ready, use the three lines that follow “Name” to record the mailing address of the Payer. Begin with the “Street Address” line then complete it with the “Zip Code” line.

Step 5 – Account For The Services Or Goods To Be Purchased

The Customer or Client’s order should be detailed for his or her ability to review it. Many of your Clientele will desire some form of documentation as to what is being purchased. This paperwork can easily accommodate such a necessity with a concise invoice table. The “Description” part of this table can (and should) be used to document the dates and hours required for the Customer’s job and/or a list of the items being purchased along with their quantities. If this seven-day invoice is the result of an agreement then, it is recommended that you supply its title and signature date.

Step 6 – Present The Costs Subject To Deadline

The second column of this table is geared to present some detail to the due “Amount.” The first box in the second column should display the pricing for the items in the “Description” box. Whether you report multiple dollar amounts or a single “Amount” is left to your discretion. The box below the amount(s) recorded bears the “Subtotal” label. Use this box as a presentation for a total of the amount(s) that must be paid within seven days. This “Subtotal” should not be affected by any taxes.  It is necessary to report the “Tax” you will apply to the “Subtotal” as a separate dollar value. Therefore, a textbox has been placed under “Subtotal” where you must input the full dollar amount of all taxes that will be added to the “Subtotal.”  The “Total” box refers to the value in “Subtotal” added its applicable “Tax.” This result is the amount of money to be paid within seven days.

Step 7 – Identify The Due Date For The Customer

The “Due Date” must be set to seven days after the invoice “Date.” To set a calendar day as the “Due Date” of this document, seek out the statement starting with the phrase “This Payment Is…” then supply the “Due Date” on the blank line provided.

Step 8 – An Option To Continue Addressing Subjects Is Presented

The final section of this invoice is optional and is provided as a consideration. If you require more room to continue presenting the Recipient with content geared for the situation, then locate the “Comments Or Special Instructions” section. A couple of lines have been placed here for this purpose.

How to Write in MS Excel

Download: Microsoft Excel (.xls)

Step 1 – Obtain The 7-Day-Payment Spreadsheet Invoice From This Site

The spreadsheet available through the “Excel” button will make a payment request with an attached seven-day deadline. You may also access this button above with the “Microsoft Excel (.xls)” link.

Step 2 – Inform The Client Of The Invoicing Company’s Identity

Our initial task lies in cell A1 where the logo or official banner image used by the Invoicing Company should be uploaded as part of our introduction. Cell A2 has been dedicated to introduce the Invoicing Company by its formal or legal name.    The mailing address where the Consumer may reach the Invoicing Company must be entered using three different cells. Start this report with the “Street Address” of this entity in cell A3 continuing with the appropriate “City, State,” and “Country” then, concluding with its “Zip Code”
The official office “E-Mail address and telephone number maintained by the Invoicing Company are the next requests made in column A. Cells A7 and cell A8 bear the labels calling for these items.

Step 3 – Deliver Filing Information For This Deadline Request

Turn your attention from column A to cell F4. This field should be populated with a distinct filing or invoice number that the Consumer may use to refer to this paperwork.  In cell H4, the formal “Date” this invoice applies to the Consumer should be shown as its contents. This field has acquired its content from your computer calendar therefore, displaying this invoice “Date” as the current day. You may change this at your discretion.

Step 4 – Attach The Consumer’s Billing Information

The Consumer causing this paperwork should be identified as the Party expected to submit payment within one week. The “Bill To” heading will start the section where we directly address the Consumer by documenting his or her “Name” in cell A11.  Continue through the “Bill To” section by inputting the Consumer’s “Street Address” and “City, State, Country” in cells A12 and A13.  Record the Consumer’s postal code in cell A14.

Step 5 – Define The Consumer’s Ordered Products Or Service Request

The next portion of the “Bill To” section features an invoice table. Cell A17, the “Description” cell, is the first segment we will populate with content. All billable products and work time the Consumer is responsible to pay for must be reported for this request to be made.

Step 6 – Apply The Payment Amount Required In Seven Days

Column H of this table will contain several labeled cells reserved for the pricing of the Consumer’s order. “Amount,” or cell H17, seeks the cost of each item the Consumer ordered

The “Subtotal” of the amounts above will confirm exactly how much the Invoicing Company is charging without factoring in any required taxes. Generate the dollar sum of the amounts above in cell H18.
Products that are purchased, services that are commissioned, or manufactured goods that increase in value down the supply line are all examples of taxes that may apply to the above order. Verify the tax amount owed by the Consumer with this bill then input it to cell H19.

The “Total” required to satisfy this bill will be the sum of the previous entries in cell H18 and cell H19. Perform this operation then report the result in cell H20 (or “Total”).

Step 7 – Inform The Consumer Of The Payment’s Intended Receipt Date

This spreadsheet provides the ability to name a definitive “Due Date” by applying the language used in cell A21. You must supplement this wording a calendar date that is seven days from the invoice “Date” you supplied. If desired, you may account for the time it takes to deliver this document as a courtesy to the Consumer.

Step 8 – An Option To Continue Addressing Subjects Is Presented

In quite a few cases, some additional material or instructions may be necessary to complete this invoice. If so, then cell A22 is available to receive such information.
