A table with several columns has been provided to satisfy this requirement. You may report this information on one row or you may break it up by days worked or the type of work done.
Use the “Description” column to summarize the work the Attorney completed for the Client. The total “Hours” when the Attorney worked on the Client’s project should be furnished to the second column. Document the amount of money the Attorney charges for every hour of work in the column labeled “Hourly Rate.” Multiply the number you entered in “Hours” by the number reported in “Hourly Rate” then produce the result in the column labeled “Amount.”
6 – Complete This Paperwork With The Amount Owed And A Deadline
The label “Total” will require the sum of the “Amount” column furnished to the box next to it. The statement “Payment Is Due Within…” will act as a method to let the Client know how many days he or she has to pay this “Total” reported on this Invoice. Use the blank space in this statement to report the how many days from the receipt of this document may elapse before the Client will be considered late in his or her payment. Thus, for example, if the Client has five days after receiving this paperwork to pay the owed Amount before being considered delinquent, then enter the number “5.” Any additional Comments relevant to this Invoice may be included using the blank lines after “Comments Or Special Instructions.”

1 – Download The Excel Invoice To Bill An Attorney’s Client
The Excel Invoice you can use to bill the Client can be obtained by selecting the “MS Excel” button above. You will need to have this spreadsheet program available for use on your machine or have compatible editing software to use this file version correctly and efficiently. Keep in mind, that while the formulas have been supplied to this form, you will need to make to set the area you are printing once you have completed it.
2 – Use The First Few Cells In Column A To Document Present Both Parties
Rows 1 through 8 in Column A should be utilized to identify the Attorney or Firm who must be paid for this Invoice.
If the Firm has a specific logo you may place it in Cell A1. If not, you may leave it blank or use the generic logo.
Enter the Name of the Firm in Cell A2 (“Company Name”). If there is no such entity name, then delete the text in this cell.
Use the cells (A3 through A8) to furnish the billing Attorney/Firm’s Name, Mailing or Street Address, E-Mail Address, and Telephone Number.
Next, we will identify the paying Client. This is the recipient who will receive and pay the amount listed on this Invoice. Use Cells A11 through A14 (below the bold words “Bill To”) to document the Name and Mailing (or Physical) Address of the Client. Make sure to put each component of this entity’s Address in the appropriately labeled cell (“Name,” “Street Address,” “City, State, Country,” and “Zip Code”).
3 – Input This Document’s Reference Information Using the Columns On The Right

Enter the Invoice Number used for this paperwork in the cell below “Invoice #.” It is strongly recommended this document be given an identifying number that is unique in the firm so that it may be easily referenced. The Invoice Date will automatically generate under the word “Date” as the current Calendar Date. You may change this by inputting a different Date at your discretion or leave it as is.
4 – Define The Attorney Services This Invoice Is Concerned With
The table supplied beneath the above information will supply an area for us to detail the work that has been performed by the billing Attorney/Firm and the amount of money the Client must pay for that work. Summarize work done by the Attorney using the rows below “Description” in column A. The “Hours” the Attorney spent working on the project listed in Column A should be defined in Column B while his or her “Hourly Rate” should be presented in the next column.
