Payslip Invoice Template

Payslip Invoice Template can be issued with the payment owed to an entity that is owed funds for work or a product. This can be particularly useful when such an entity (i.e. Temporary Personnel, Contractor, Freelancer) must be paid but lacks any paperwork that may be deemed necessary by your entity’s bookkeeping department. By documenting precisely how much was paid to who and for what, you can standardize all payments issued to such entities.

How to Write in PDF and Word

Download: Adobe PDF & Microsoft Word (.docx)

1 – Save The Payslip Invoice To Your Computer

The invoice paperwork necessary to document an Employee’s pay is available as a PDF or Word document. You can access this document in any of these formats by clicking on either the links displayed above or the buttons near the top of the page (with the image).

2 – The Payslip Invoice Must Present The Employee

The Contracted Company or Employee is the first entity this invoice must display. This is the entity that will receive or has received the Amount this payslip invoice records. The terminology currently populating the first field (“Company Name”) should be replaced by the Payee’s business identity. The full “Name” of the individual who is assigned the role of Payee in this paperwork should be produced on the first labeled line. The “Street Address” line and the line labeled “City, State, Country” have been included so you can record the Payee’s address. Notice a separate line has been designated to accept the “Zip Code” attached to this address. The spaces corresponding to the “Phone” and “E-Mail” labels will accept these next two items of the Payee’s information.

3 – Produce The Payslip Invoice Number And The Paying Entity

Most bookkeeping departments will keep track of both their accounts payable and accounts receivable. A standard method of reference for this type of paperwork is an “Invoice #” which is unique in the Issuer’s (Payer’s) payslip system. Provide this number and the accompanying “Date” of issue to the labeled spaces provided. Both may be found in the horizontal bar separating the top of the page from the body of this invoice.Additionally, we will want both the Employee (Payee) and the Employer (Payer) to be named here. Therefore, the Payer must be identified by “Name,” then by his or her business “Street Address,” the “City, State, Country” where this street you indicate is located, and corresponding “Zip Code” in the area under the name “To.”

4 – Account For The Payment Being Made In The Center Of The Invoice Page

As a matter of record, it will be necessary to document why the money you list on this payslip invoice is being submitted to the Payee. The first box at the center of this payslip will need a full “Description” of the work the Payee/Employee provided.

The second box will need the full “Amount.” Since this may be an Employer/Employee document, it will be perfectly acceptable to list any necessary deductions in the “Description” area while placing the full “Amount” the Payee receives in the second column. “Comments And Special Instructions” can be included should you wish. Two blank lines have been placed at the bottom of this page for this purpose.

How to Write in Excel

Download: Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)

1 – Save The Spreadsheet Payslip Invoice To Your Network

Save the excel sheet on this page by selecting the “Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)” link displayed in this area or by selecting the similarly labeled button displayed with the preview.

2 – The Payee’s Information Requires Production

The opening of this sheet will need several pieces of information all pertaining to the individual, known as the Contracted Employee or Payee, that is receiving funds with this paperwork. This may be a freelancer or a contractor, so the first cell has been reserved as a place to import this entity’s logo. If the Payee does not have a logo, then you may use an image associated with the purpose of the payslip. Traditionally the logo of an entity is often paired with its legal business name. Cell A2 is reserved for this information and will expect its contents (“Company Name”) to be replaced with the Employee or Contractor’s business name. Whether the Payee is a Contractor or a Business, you must fill in the full name of the individual who will be addressed when contacting the Payee. Cell A3 will display this information for this invoice. The mailing address associated with the Payee should be a part of this header. The three cells following the name area (A4, A5, and A6) have been set in column A for this purpose. Furnish the “E-Mail” address maintained by the Payee in cell A7 The Payee’s telephone number will also be a necessity in this area. Supply it in cell A8.

3 – The Employer Or Payer Must Be Solidified

Some documentation as to the Payer’s identity will also be a necessity for the goal of this payslip. This will solidify who is submitting the required payment with this paperwork to the Payee listed above. Accomplish this by entering the Payer’s “Name” to cell A11 along with his or her mailing address using cells A12 through A14.

4 – Produce The Specifics Of This Payslip

If an invoice number has been assigned to this document, it should be entered so that it is on display in cell F4. Similarly, enter the “Date” that will be associated with this number as the document date in cell H4. Currently, the default calendar date will be set to the current one. This sheet contains a definitive area where the details or reasons of this payment should be defined along with the funds accompanying this document. List this information in cell A17. The dollar “Amount” being paid is required in cell A18.

5 – More Content Is Optional

You may wish to include additional statements or figures that have not been covered. If so, then report this information in cell A18
